Nigel Smith

Nigel Smith is a recognised specialist in Taxation, Commercial Advisory and Trust services and has over 30 years of experience advising on taxation and business issues. He assists a broad spectrum of clients including private companies, Family Businesses, Professional Services firms, Chartered Accountants and individuals.

Nigel Smith has assisted on numerous advisory panels and has been a court-appointed specialist. He is currently a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Nigel has taught various Taxation Papers at post-graduate level at both Auckland University and AUT University.

In 2007 Taxation & Commercial Solutions Limited was founded by Nigel and was later renamed in 2010 as Covisory Partners Limited.
